Right now, we are about one month away from the Apple Watch being shipped, but in about two weeks, you can try it on and out at Apple stores. So it stands to reason that some select apps are available now that include things like Things (not kidding), Twitter, Target, Dark Sky, and Sky Guide.
The applications are actually being released publicly so the Apple Watch reviewers can access the third party Apple Watch applications.
So far, here is what my source reveals to be the apps available for the Apple Watch.
Air Canada
AliPay
Babbel
CNN
Dark Sky
ECB Cricket
Evernote
Expedia
Flipboard
Kitchen Stories
Lifesum
Line
MLB.com At Bat
Procreate Pocket
Qantas Airways
Redfin
Runtastic Six Pack
Sky Guide
SPG: Starwood Hotels and Resorts
The New York Times
Target
Things
TransitApp
TripAdvisor
Trivia Crack
The Wall Street Journal
Twitter
WeChat
Wunderlist
Yahoo Tourney Pick’Em
Of course there are more applications on their way, and there will soon be an entire section in the Apple App Store made just for the Apple Watch.
I guess that the only question is what apps will come to the Apple Watch next? I noticed that big websites like Twitter and Expedia are already up and running, but where are sites like eBay and Wikipedia? I’m sure all of these great applications will be available eventually, and I have no idea how users will interface with them.
